Our aim is to help make this lovely park
an even pleasanter place to visit for everyone – young or old.
Our main objectives at
present are to raise funds by various means in order to:-

- Restore
the historic ‘Grotto' which is in a serious state of repair
- Keep
the ‘Canal' neat and tidy
- Renovate
the Ornamental gates and railings
- Provide
a meadow area, plant more trees and plant bulbs
- Make
the paths safer and arrange for more seating and litter bins
- Help
improve the tennis courts and Children's playground
- Have
regular work parties to keep the park tidy and free from litter
We need funds and volunteers for these
objectives. A Committee has been formed and we have a Friends
membership of over 100.
